Kathleen Carrillo is an artist whose works evoke the fullness of life in the 21st century.
Her paintings are so bold, healing and triumphant that they lighten the spirit.
Born and raised in Southern California, Kathleen Carrillo has a masters' degree
in painting and printmaking, and has managed her own gallery for more than 20 years.
She was the founder of the very successful artist colony, Towles Court, in Sarasota, Florida.
Kathleen is a charismatic spokesperson for the arts, and is credited with an
impressive list of juried exhibitions, private and corporate commissions, has
participated and sat on many boards, both philinthropic and arts related and
has won prizes to numerous to mention.
Kathleen now lives in the magical town of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and has created an artist retreat in the jungle
at the base of the Sierra Madres along the magical Rio Cuale. She has also opened her new thriving gallery in downtown

Carrillo is now dedicated to working
exclusively on her many series and continually pleasing her patrons with new works
of art.
Carrillo produces her works in themed series. Currently, Kathleen is at work on
"Smokin...a Jazz Series", "Architectural Whimsey", "Tropical Fantasy" and
"Inspirational Women", along with her latest series: Jungle Magic.
This series is inspired by the lush surroundings of her new retreat center and the inspirational words of a mother loosing
her memory but not her childlike heart.
Sold nationally and abroad, her works are acrylic on canvas. Many are
available as giclees on canvas, each with the artist's remarques.
